I grew up in a Godly home in Little Rock, AR. One of the first memories I can remember about chuch life is my parents making the decision to switch churches and begin attending Fellowship Bible Church in about 1984. I was crushed because all the people I knew were already at the church we had been attending. I didn't realize what an impact that move would make in my life. I accepted Christ because of a 3rd grade teacher at Fellowship. I had my first crush on a girl whose father was a community group leader and I met her during a community group leader's meeting (we were in the child care). I gained a passion to play music on a Student Ministries mission trip to Arizona. I gained a love for missions because of the trips that FSM took every summer to different parts of the world. I felt like being a Christian was "cooler" than not for the first time because of a Student Ministries intern (in fact, it was that intern that is the reason I am working with students today). I gained a self-confidence about speaking in front of people and being a goof in that ministry as well. I learned how to make videos speak to people, either through laughter or tears. I learned how to be a "Christ follower" on my own, apart from my parent's faith, for the first time. Finally, I met my wife Kelly at FSM as we were both interns for the Student Ministry for two summers during college.

Needless to say, I love giving back to God through my ministry to students because He has given me so much because of those that were called to do the same. If I can have an impact on one student the way the countless numbers of people have had on me, then praise be to God that He is working through me, a imperfect human being.

I have an incredible wife, Kelly and we were married on June 30, 2001 in Little Rock, AR. She was fully involved with the ministry as well until we had our daughter, Olivia Jade, on December 26, 2004. I love my family like nothing else and would do anything for them.
